Carol of the Bells with God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen inspired by THE PIANO GUYS. Custom arranged for full strings with drums/percussion and loop or metric cello. This work could be performed with a programed loop as on the original Piano Guys recording, or the loop part could be played by a solo cellist.  This would be a great work for a premiere string ensemble that should bring a favorable response from the listeners.  Note on the original YouTube version there are some “slap” bowing technics employed.  This are not indicated in the score but would add a nice dimension to the performance.  This work is set in the original key with the original road map with adjustments made for using the full string ensemble.  Drums/percussion could be considered optional though there are sleigh bells on the original.  The drums, tough minimal could help keep the performance on track. Note that this arrangement does stay in the lower ranges until the end.  Be sure to listen to the midi audio of this work.
