O HOLY NIGHT – Inspired by GLEE – Arranged for Mezzo solo, SATB Choir and full orchestra. The original version is quite processed and uses mostly synth instruments. This acoustic version attempts to capture that fullness, but yet with traditional instrumentation so there are no synth pads, tough one could use them in desired.

On the original recording all the back vocals are men. This SATB version is very close to the original, and so could be sung by all men though the parts are very high for men. The true SATB choir will work excellent. Also note that when the back vocals sing on the recording, they are very processed and a “shimmer” sound comes through on the recording. You may consider to use a synth pad that plays along with the choir to create that “shimmer” effect.
