Harry Connick has performed How Great Thou Art at many of his concerts. Each time he does, he does it different. This version uses some of his ideas from various performances. The chart begins with a verse a guitar solo (or any instrument) with simple rhythm. The first Chorus is more free form with a transcribed piano part. There are three vamp ideas than can be used for improv solos. Then there is a vocal verse and chorus with horns. Then a horn verse leading into a piano solo on the chorus. (only simple chords here). The guitar or horn solo is next with simple chords. Finally, there is a vocal chorus with horns.

Be sure to view the YouTube Score to view the chart. Note that this arrangement could go on a long time (as it often does at HC concerts). But cuts could be made to shorten it up.

Parts include a solo/vocal chart with Piano/Rhythm. Note sometimes there are full piano passages and sometimes a simple rhythm line. This should work for all rhythm players. There are five horn parts included. Trumpet 1, trumpet 2, alto sax, trombone 1 (or tenor sax), and trombone 2.
