Custom music arrangements, music beds and original compositions created by HansenCharts LLC are considered “works for hire.” Ownership of a custom created “work for hire” is considered owned by the clients that financially underwrite the cost of a particular work. However HansenCharts do retain a copy of each custom work, and may use the particular work as a framework for other similar custom arrangements. The client is also responsible for securing the proper copyright clearances in order to perform the “work for hire.”
